Akasa Expands Fanless Case Compatibility for ASUS NUC 15 Pro and Introduces HPC Liquid Coolers Ahead of COMPUTEX 2025

TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 16, 2025 – Akasa, a leading provider of thermal solutions, today announced support for the latest ASUS NUC 15 Pro motherboards across its fanless cases, ahead of COMPUTEX Taipei

The Turing RC Pro, Maxwell RC Pro, Pascal RC, Newton RC and Plato RC cases are now all compatible with the ASUS NUC 15 Pro subject to their respective supported Thermal Design Point (TDP).  

Adding to the existing ASUS ecosystem product line, Akasa has announced two new made-to-order enclosures for the ASUS Tinker Board series: A-ITC132-M1B and A-ITC135-M1B

Akasa has also unveiled a range of industrial liquid coolers, designed for AI, server, data center and other high-performance computing (HPC) applications. These can be customized to suit specific design requirements, with various radiator profiles, cold plate options and socket configurations available. Contact the Akasa team to learn more. 

All new and updated solutions will be on display at Akasa’s COMPUTEX booth in Hall 1, 4/F, Booth N0226 from May 20-23.

Fanless Cases for ASUS NUC 15 Pro

As a leading developer of passive case solutions, Akasa has expanded its premium fanless case lineup to include the recently released ASUS NUC 15 Pro, an AI-enabled mini PC powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 2), alongside the existing ASUS NUC 14 Pro motherboards.

The following Akasa cases are now fully compatible, subject to their respective TDP thresholds:

Turing RC Pro
Superb cooling meets contemporary design. The Turing RC Pro is a premium fanless enclosure crafted from brushed aluminum, featuring a copper thermal module and dual heatpipes for 40W TDP support. With a compact 2.8L volume, it offers flexible orientation (vertical or horizontal), making it ideal for workstations, kiosks, or edge AI deployments. The case provides full access to connectivity ports, including dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, USB, HDMI and LAN, and is equipped with openings to connect up to four 4K displays.

Maxwell RC Pro
Optimized performance in a versatile chassis. The Maxwell RC Pro combines advanced thermal engineering with a sleek industrial look. Featuring bi-symmetrically extruded aluminum fins, an adjustable thermal module and dual copper heatpipes, it supports 40W TDP for demanding AI, IoT and commercial applications. Pascal RC

Newton RC
Compact power for digital signage and embedded computing. The Newton RC is a 1.9L fanless case offering a small footprint with high thermal efficiency for NUC systems up to 28W TDP. Plato RC
Slim, silent computing with flexible installation. The Plato RC features a low-profile 1U-compatible design (240 x 39 x 247mm), supporting up to 28W TDP. The diamond-edge front panel features extended USB ports, in addition to the board’s standard rear interface (dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, HDMI and LAN). The case supports VESA mounting and is compatible with an optional 1U rackmount front panel for wall rack, cabinet and appliance server mounting, making it ideal for digital signage, surveillance or server installations where form factor and performance matter.

Fanless Cases for ASUS Tinker Board

Akasa has expanded its ASUS ecosystem to include two new aluminum cases for the ASUS Tinker Board single-board computer (SBC) series, designed to support the growing demand for RISC-V and Arm-based platforms in the industrial and IoT sectors.

A-ITC132-M1B

Firstly, the A-ITC132-M1B is a fanless case designed for the ASUS Tinker V with RISC-V processors. Measuring 85.4 x 109 x 33.5mm (W x D x H) and with a compact volume of sub-0.4L, the case is perfect for space-constrained environments in industrial and IoT applications. Wall, VESA and DIN rail mounting options are available.

A-ITC135-M1B

Secondly, the A-ITC135-M1B is a fanless case designed for the ASUS Tinker 3S, which features a 64-bit, quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor, built on the Arm v8 architecture. The case measures 68.3 x 96 x 33.5mm (W x D x H) with a compact volume of sub-0.3L, making it perfect for applications where space is at a premium, such as IoT gateways, digital signage and self-service kiosks. Wall, VESA and DIN rail mounting options are available.

High-performance Computing Industrial Liquid Coolers 

Akasa has launched a customizable series of closed-loop and open-loop liquid coolers, designed for AI, server, data center and other high-performance computing (HPC) applications. Supporting Intel® Xeon® and AMD EPYC™ processors up to 750W TDP, the liquid coolers can be customized to suit specific design requirements based on the below features and options.

Fan options

40 mm, 80mm or 120mm fan frame sizes with different thicknesses are available to accommodate static pressure requirements.

  • LGA4677 / LGA 4710
  • LGA7529

For AMD processors, the following socket types are supported:
